These Weekend workshops are dedicated to embodying and empowering the Wild and Wise Woman archetypes found within all of us. Using a potent mix of creative self-expression, sacred play and circle work alongside a range of Linda’s vibrational essences we will foster our connection with Self, Soul, Land and Other. Drawing from the richness of stories, symbols and myths, active imagination, earth based spirituality and the teachings of Clarissa Pinkola Estes we will get to know The Wild and Wise Woman within, strengthen our unique creativity and intuition working at depth with other kindred spirits. We will work both indoors and on the land, individually and as a collective
These workshops are an opportunity to dive deeply connecting to our innate deep wisdom.
Our experience is that personal transformation occurs through using these stories; working with metaphor, dream work, depth psychology and creative self-expression in a safely held space with deep sharing. The workshops are designed to be enjoyable and life enriching, there is usually a lot of laughter and support, healthy food, and cake!
Continuing the work from Series 1 these workshops are an opportunity to dive deeply connecting to and developing our intuition and innate deep wisdom. The main stories come from the work of Clarissa Pinkola Estes and we use her insight alongside our lifelong experience of personal growth work.
These stories offer opportunities to heal and transform our lives, creating a greater understanding and acceptance of self and finding out who we really are and answering our soul’s longing.
Our experience is that personal transformation occurs through using these stories; working with metaphor, dreamwork, depth psychology and creative self-expression in a safely held space with deep sharing. The workshops are designed to be enjoyable and life enriching, there is usually a lot of laughter and support, healthy food, and cake!
This work is therapeutic but not therapy. These workshops are for women who are seriously committed to their own process of growth. They may bring up past experiences which are difficult or uncomfortable and you need to be aware of this possibility. However, you will be supported during the weekend but may need to consider what other sources of support you will have.
The weekends will open at 7pm on a Friday night with a welcoming meal and opening circle and close at 3pm on the Sunday. There will be 6 workshop sessions throughout the weekend overall which can be used as CPD and we will give out certificates of attendance for anyone who requests one.
Each day will start with a morning meditation and will include time to walk in the local countryside.
There are 8 places available for each workshop. Each weekend will stand alone so you are welcome to attend a single weekend but they have been designed as a series with overarching themes and process.
These can be fully residential, including shared simple overnight accommodation at my home at Wold Close Retreat Centre in East Yorkshire. There is also a non residential option if you prefer to have your own sleeping space
Dates and Prices for Wild and Wise 2024
Spring
1. February 2nd - 4th. We will use the story of Vasilisa the Wise to look at retrieval of intuition and initiation.
2. April 19th – 21st. We will be working with the story of The Red Shoes to help us identify some of the traps and dangers along the road of personal growth.
3. June 7th – 9th. The story of The Five Women Spirits will provide our framework for becoming more courageous, recognizing and integrating our own grandmother wisdom.
Autumn.
4. October 18th - 20th. We will use the story of The Crescent Moon Bear to explore boundaries, patience, rage and forgiveness.
5. November 22nd - 24th. An exploration of how we can healthily nourish and maintain our Creative Life using stories alongside creative processes.
Personal Investment
£250 per weekend including all meals and shared accommodation £600 for any three.
£200 non residential options including all meals £550 for any three.
